The set of spices for the Kalinova infusion is designed to balance the unique taste of the barberry with alcohol. The composition of the product, which includes dried burdock root, lemon peel, dried raspberries and butane, gives the drink uniqueness and depth of taste.

The taste of the drink is rich and deep, with a slight acidity added by dried buckthorn and raspberry, perfectly combined with notes of lemon zest and star anise.

The aftertaste of the infusion is slightly bitter.

Will be necessary:

- 3 liters of alcohol with a strength of 40-45%

- 30-50 g of sugar or honey

- this spice kit

Preparation:

1) Prepare the ingredients: to prepare the infusion, you will need 40-45% alcohol (such as vodka, spirit or distillate), this set of spices, sugar or honey (optional), a clean glass container and a funnel.

2) Pour the spices from the kit into a container and add 3 liters of alcohol with a strength of 40-45%.

3) Mix well and close the container

4) Place the container in a dark place for 10-14 days. Periodically shake the container so that the spices are evenly distributed. The longer you keep the spices, the richer the taste of the drink will be.

5) The drink is filtered. To do this, use a funnel and gauze or a special filter cloth. It is not necessary to remove all deposits that appeared, but if they interfere, you can remove them.

6) Add sugar or honey if desired.

7) After adding sugar or honey, place the container with the drink in a dark and cool place for another 5-7 days.

Congratulations, your infusion is ready! Pour into another clean glass container and store in a cool, dark place.
