Set of spices for Christmas rum infusion (for 3 liters)
Will be necessary:
- 2.4 liters of alcohol with 40% strength
- this spice kit
- honey - 50 g
- water - 750 ml
Preparation:
1) Put the contents of the packet in a container and add alcohol
2) Seal tightly and store in a dark, warm place
3) Let the drink stand for a week, shaking it periodically
4) After 7 days, the infusion is filtered through a small sieve or several layers of cheesecloth. Before filtering, it is better to taste the infusion - if the smell and taste seem weak - wait a few more days.
5) Prepare the syrup: dilute 50 g of honey in 450 ml of water and put on fire. Stir continuously until the honey is completely dissolved. Do not boil. Remove, cool to room temperature, skim off foam if still present, and add to infusion.
6) After that, pour another 300 ml of water into the pot in which the syrup was boiled, rinse and also add to the tincture. In total, you should have about 3 liters of infusion.
7) After mixing the infusion and syrup, the Christmas rum can be considered ready.
After completing all the procedures, you will receive a delicious and aromatic drink that will give you the taste of Christmas.
