Centrifugal pump with magnetic connection. The housing ("snail") is made of stainless steel AISI 304.
The maximum temperature of the pumped liquid is 120°C, which allows the pump to be used with boiling must. Great for home brewing.
The pump inlet and outlet have a 1/2 inch thread. Internal threaded fittings (not included) are used to connect the hoses. Use a hose and nipple with a diameter of at least 12 mm at the entrance. It is recommended to install a ball valve on the pump outlet to control the flow.
The magnetic connection completely isolates the pumped liquid from the electric motor. Torque is transmitted from the motor to the impeller using a magnetic field. As a result, there are no seals in the pump that can be damaged over time.
The detachable pump housing (auger) can be easily disassembled for cleaning and disinfection. All parts that come into contact with the liquid are made of materials that are suitable for contact with food.
