Cast-Iron Kazan 10L with Lid

The kazan is made from 100% cast iron, which retains heat well and distributes it evenly. Thanks to its spherical shape and thick 7 mm walls, food cooks evenly, stays warm for longer and is less likely to burn in separate spots. It is especially suitable for pilaf, stews, soups, meat dishes and other meals that require slow and even cooking.

The inside of the kazan is smoothly polished, while the outside has a rougher cast-iron finish that acts as a protective layer against corrosion. The flat bottom makes the kazan easier to place on different surfaces, while the inside keeps the classic kazan shape. The set includes an aluminium lid with a comfortable plastic handle, helping you control the cooking process. Four sturdy handles make the kazan easier to move.

Before first use, cast-iron cookware should be seasoned with oil to create a natural protective layer against rust. Onion can also be used during the first seasoning, as it helps reduce the specific smell of new cast iron. After use, rinse the cookware with warm water, dry it thoroughly and lightly oil it. Food should not be stored in cast-iron cookware; it should not be soaked for a long time, washed in a dishwasher or cleaned with detergents.
