Principle of operation: Condensate, flowing down the spherical cover of the device, enters the phlegm accumulation zone. Excess liquid flows through irrigation tubes that distribute the phlegm evenly over the entire area to increase the efficiency of heat and mass transfer in the column.

The thermometer is located in the steam zone, which allows you to measure the steam temperature as accurately as possible without condensate getting on it and without temperature jumps
