Instructions for use:

1) Before first use, rinse the stone under running water (cold or lukewarm) or wipe it with a damp cloth.

2) Place a clean stone (polished side up) on the middle rack of a cold oven. The dimensions of the stone are adapted to the dimensions of the grid in order to optimally use its useful area.

3) Set the temperature to around 250-270°C and preheat the oven for 30-60 minutes.

4) Place the pizza on the stone with a spatula and bake for a few minutes - depending on the thickness of the dough, as recommended in the recipe.

5) Remove the finished pizza from the oven with a spatula.

6) After baking, leave the stone in the oven until completely cool.

Attention:

Avoid sudden changes in temperature - Granite does not like sudden changes in temperature, so always put the stone in a cold oven and only remove it after use when it has cooled. Also, do not put cold food (straight from the fridge) on it.

It is strictly forbidden to heat wet stone - cracks may appear.

The stone heats up to high temperatures, touching it can cause burns.

Do not grease the pizza stone.

Wash the stone by hand, using a mild (natural) dishwashing liquid if necessary. Carefully scrape off the remaining batter.

The formation of spots on the surface of the pizza stone is a natural process associated with its use. Any stains that do not disappear after washing will not affect the functionality of the stone in any way - they will only be a sign of how often it is used.
